Monday Mindfulness Minute: Heart Awareness Breath

Step 1: Close your eyes and breath naturally.

Step 2: Rest your attention on your breastbone. Imagine looking inward toward your heart. Let your attention rest there as you continue to naturally breathe.

Step 3: Imagine your breath is moving into and out of your heart center as if it were a doorway to your breath. In and out of the center of your chest.

Step 4: Continue for at least a minute (or longer). When you feel ready, slowly flutter your eyes open.

Let this heart centered awareness serve as a reminder to lead with the properties inherent to the heart throughout your day – peace, happiness, laughter, love and compassion.
